ByteMinded Software Solutions LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the LiftLog mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By downloading or using LiftLog, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Workout logs you create within the App (exercises, sets, reps, weights)
• Custom routines you build and optionally share
• Account details if you create an account (e.g., display name)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and crash/error reports
• General usage analytics (screen views, feature usage) — no personal identifiers attached

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your real name, email address, or phone number (unless you provide them voluntarily)
• Location data
• Health data beyond what you manually enter as workout logs
• Payment information (the App is free)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Enable routine sharing features
• Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs
• Understand how features are being used so we can build better ones

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the App (e.g., crash reporting, hosting) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Shared routines: when you explicitly share a routine, the routine content becomes accessible to anyone with the link. No personal identifiers are included.

Your workout data is stored locally on your device. If cloud sync or sharing features are used, data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Workout data you create is retained on your device until you delete it. If you delete the App, locally stored data is removed. Any server-side data associated with your account is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.

LiftLog is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of analytics data collection (via device settings)

The App may use third-party services for crash reporting or analytics. These services have their own privacy policies. We only use services that are compliant with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
